A couple weeks ago we met my Aunt Julie and her husband for dinner in Salt Lake. We figured since we were already up that way we should stop in at City Creek. Last time we went was when I got super sick, so we didn't get to see any of it!
Dinner was great and it was great to catch up with Julie and Tracey!
We stopped at Temple Square first... it is my favorite this time of year. The flowers are gorgeous!
I framed this and put it in Ry's room with the saying, " I'll go inside some day."
It was crazy to see City Creek, seeing how it used to be nothing. Chasey worked on that project for 3 years. Its fun to go with him and have him point out everything he built or poured! He did a lot!!!
Ry's favorite thing was the fountains. We tried to keep her dry... that didn't work!
We ended up having to buy her a new outfit at Gymboree ( a long with four other parents whose kids were soaked) cause she was FREEZING!! Gymboree said that they get most of their business form parents who let their kids get wet in the fountains! She was froze all night, even in a dry outfit and a sweater wrapped around her! I have officially fallen in love with City Creek,and have feeling we will be there a lot!
