... Our Nerd...

I LOVE this little nerd of ours!
She is always doing something to make me laugh! I know when its really quiet that I am going to laugh really hard! This is what I found a couple weeks ago.... Ry decked out in Chaseys underwear playing with earings and pictures of two of her cousins! She sure makes life alot more fun.

...Videos from the past 2 months...

Ry loves to sing her own songs, and makes me laugh every time she does!

We were coming home from Denver, and stopped to eat and I guess dance!

On our way home from Denver. We stopped to get gas, and to get Ry out of her carseat.

...Fall Days...

The temperature has finally changed here in Utah! I loved the warm days at the park in November, but the cold weather makes it seem more like the holidays! Rylee doesn't care if its cold or hot outside... she just wants to be outside! The only problem is that she wont keep a hat, a coat, or shoes on. She lets me put them on her, but two seconds after going outside they are somehow all ripped off. I guess that explains her nasty cold!

Ry playing in the last of the leaves.

Every picture I take of her looks like this.
She is always pointing to the cat or the dog next door or the horses across the street. She loves animals!

This swing has been awesome.
She has loved it since day one, and its totally kept her entertained!

You would think after playing in the cold you would want something warm. Nope, Ry went straight to the fridge for a popsicle.
These cold days have been kind of nice to snuggle up on the couch in a blanket with Ry, but I sure miss those nice sunny days!

... Tuesday Treat...

When I was in Hign School me and my friends would always skip class... surprise... and go to Joes's in Payson. Its the best little coffee shop ever! I had totally forgotten about it until the first of October. The mornings were getting colder, which made me want some hot chocolate. I remembered Joe's, and headed on over. I didn't know if they were still open or not, but it was worth a try. Lucky us, they were open and had expanded their store! Ever since then me and my BFF Rylee have gone every Tuesday morning for a cup of White Chocolate Hot Chocolate and a breakfast bagel sandwhich. Rylee didnt know what to think of a hot drink at first. She has never liked anything hot. Even her bottles as a newborn were cold... kind of weird. It took a couple tastes of it, and now she is hooked. The ladies over there love her, and always give her her own little "cup of joe," ( thats what they always say to her!) Its just another fun little thing that I get to do with Rylee!

On our way to Joe's

Is she not the cutest little thing sipping her drink?!

Momma and Ry Ry.
Ry points to my cup and says Momma then points to hers and says Ry Ry.

...Leaves...

We have these amazing trees in our front yard that are huge and shade our whole yard in the summer! In the fall they aren't so amazing. They make our lawn look like its covered in a golden blanket. It may look pretty, but its a pain to rake them all and bag them! That's why I hire two workers every year to clean them up! My nephews have come for the past three years... maybe two... and bagged them all up for me. I feel bad as I sit there and watch their mom do more of the work then they do, so this year I had them all raked into piles before they came. All they had to do was the hard part of bagging them all.

Before we raked them into piles. It does look pretty cool!

After we got them into piles. This is just some of the piles. The whole side yard and some of the back were covered too.

Katie, Sam, Ben, and Rylee.
The boys would put the leaves in, and Rylee would take them out. She was not too good of a helper!

Employee #1
Sam
Last year Sam was too little to help bag, so he was in charge of sweeping.

Employee #2
Ben

2 1/2 hours of work + 11 bags of leaves = $5!
Thanks Boys!
When they were almost done a wind came, and a ton of leaves started falling again. Its a never ending battle for about a month.

...A start to our November...

October was CRAZY BUSY for us! It felt like we had something going on everyday, and our weekends were jammed packed. Halloween is one of my families most celebrated holidays. I have a sister in law who always says she has never met any family that celebrates Halloween as much as ours. Its not like we grew up celebrating it like we do now, its just become a favorite holiday! I'm hoping November is a little bit more calm then October was!! So far it seems to be going that way.

We started off by celebrating Grandma Larsen's birthday. Karen took us all out to lunch. It was fun for grandma to see all the grand kids, and to catch up on what everyone has been doing.

November is usually cold, but this year it has been beautiful and warm. It feels more like June then November. I'm not complaining though, its made it nice to be able to still play outside. I'm dreading the winter when we are stuck inside ALL DAY! Rylee is going to go nuts.Good thing we have passes to a few places.

Molly likes to play in our neighbors yard, but Rylee doesn't like it. She wants to mawl her all the time. When Molly goes next door, Ry sits at the fence and yells for her to come back.

She still loves the horses across the street. She is brave enough to feed them, but I don't let her. I'm always afraid the horse is going to bite her finger.

Really... no pants or jacket and a popsicle?! Its November people!

Family night trip to get some ice-cream.

Rylee wont let Chasey hold her, look at her, cuddle with her, or sit with her... she is all about her mom! Last Sunday after dinner with Grandma Betty Rylee fell asleep in the car, and was out cold. Chase carried her in and cuddled with her as long as he could.

Its nice enough weather to still wear this... I love it!!
Do you love her boots in every picture? Thats all she would wear last week!

Dad thought she needed a jacket. Look how mesmerized she is by the horses.
Other then daylight savings, November has been low key and great!

...17 months...

Look who is 17 months!
She is starting to look more and more like a toddler, and not so much like my little baby!
I wish there was a stop button that I could push to keep her this age FOREVER! She seriously is the funnest, most entertaining little girl. I laugh all day at the crazy things she does. All babies should be born a 17 month old!
Here is what's new this month...

We have a chatterbox, but is so shy around people. Who would have thought that a child from me and Chasey would be shy?!

She has more energy then the energizer bunny!! I don't know how she just keeps going all the time?

She is done with bottles! She still asks for them, which makes me want to give them to her, but I cant!

Her favorite foods are grapes, popsicles, and any kind of meat. When we get salads from Cafe Rio or Bajio she eats all the meat out of them, and still wants more. She will only eat grapes out the fridge. This is usually a fight, cause I wont leave the fridge wide open so she can go back for grapes all afternoon.

She is still saying pretty much the same words, just a lot more clear.

She sings whenever music comes on... no matter where we are at! Its the cutest thing!

She still copies everything we do... that's good and bad.

This fall has been like heaven to Rylee cause she loves leaves!! We have two huge trees in front of our house that have dropped more then leaves that are allowed, but Ry has had a blast in them.

She likes to put underwear on her like a shirt... sometimes multiple pairs. What a nerd!

Any lotion or gel or vaseline she can get her hands on she puts in her hair, then goes and puts a headband on herself.

If I am sleeping or closing my eyes she touches my face softly and says," Ma Ma." If I don't open eyes the first time she hits my face and starts yelling, " MA MA MA MA!" Its the same in the car.. she says my name until I turn around and say what.

She is the highlight of our day and WE LOVE HER!!!!
