...LarsenPalooza...

In case you don't know what Lollapalozza is I tell you!

Lollapalooza is a 3 day, eight stage music festival.
Its pretty much a 3 day party!

When my brother comes into town it feels a lot like Lollapalooza, except the 3 day party is a 7 day party! I'm not complaining its always a lot of fun, but by the end you are exhausted, beyond full of food & snacks, and just want to go to your own home and sleep!

This year was no different! We had something planned with my family every day  from December 19th-Jan 2nd! I have to say that Chasey is a trooper cause he totally came to every single thing with a smile on his face. He might not have braved the cold and gone sledding with us 3 times, but he waited happily inside for us all to get done! I didn't get pictures of everything, but here it is....

LARSENPALOOZA
2010!!!

One day we got all the girls together and let them play at Summers house. All the boys went to Katie's house. They are all getting to an age where they play really good together.

We decided to take the 4 wheelers up to the ranch. I had Rylee in front of me and Abby Sue in back of me. I really prayed that nothing happened cause I did not want to walk back in 3 feet of snow by myself with 2 kids. Luckily Mary came up a little bit after us.

Doesn't Sue look so cute in these pictures?!

The ranch looked so pretty!

The snow came up to Abby's knees.

Mary and Abby Sue.

Me and Ry.
Even thought that cat hat is pretty darn ugly, it totally kept her entire face warm on the 4 wheeler.

Marys perfect snow angel

I love this girl!

Its so funny to watch her walk in all her snow clothes!

who knew that 4 adults and 5 kids needed so much stuff to stay warm in the snow!

A little warmer activity we did was bowling. It was fun... hectic... but fun. We had 6 adults and 6 kids all bowling! It was Rylee's first time and she loved it!

Ella

Don't Rylee's shoes look so cute!

Her first time bowling.

Larsen Girls.
Abby, Mary, and Cassie

We tried getting a family picture of our shoes... this is how it turned out.

She did not want to leave without a ball.

Dustin, Mary, and Summer.

After bowling my mom treated everyone to Bajios.

My cute niece Sayla.

My SIL Kaite is the Clipper Queen!
She is the only one that can clip Rylee's nails ( and every other child's nails) without having her scream!

Watching Despicable Me.

Getting the 3 babies ready for bed.

Cass!

The cousins being crazy!

We took all the kids to see Tangled. I love that movie!!
I didn't know how Rylee would do. She sat through it once, but I didn't think I would be lucky enough to have her sit through it twice.... she did though!

Jacquline. Sue, Ella, and Kenna.

All the kids that went.
We missed Mat and Shani's kids!

More playing in the snow.

Ended the night with fireworks!
It was a great time with everyone!!

...19 months...

I kind of figured that once Rylee turned a year I would stop with the monthly updates, but she is still doing so many new things that I don't want to forget!

Yep, Rylee is 19 months now, and not a little baby anymore.
She for sure doesn't look like a little baby anyways, and she for sure doesn't need any ones help anymore either! She is our Miss Independent and we just cant seem to get enough of her!

New Things at 19 months

In the morning when she gets up she yells, " Mom" over and over again until I go in and get her. Then she lays on my shoulder and gives me a kiss. The first thing she asks for is milk in a ba ba. (Milk can mean anything to drink and a ba ba is her sippy cup.) We get her a drink and then go lay on the couch and watch some Mickey Mouse clubhouse! Its the perfect routine!

She is starting to say so much. I love her little voice, and the way she talks with her hands.

When a song comes on that she likes she says, " dance momma dance." She stops what she is doing and starts spinning and clapping and dancing.

When our cat scratches the couch Rylee runs over and tells her, " No No Moe Moe."

She always has a baby in her arms, or she is pushing one in the stroller. She likes to give put blankets over them and tell them night night.

When I pull out new clothes she has to try them on. We were going through a bin of clothes that will fit her this summer, clothes I bought before she was even born, and sure enough by the time we were done she had layers of dresses and leggings and shoes on! She will stand there until you tell her she looks cute and then you have to clap.

As much as it bothers me at the time, I love when we are driving and she says mom mom mom mom mom until I look back at her and say what. I cant just say what I have to look at her too.

Every fruit is an apple. She will ask for an apple and hand me an orange to peel, or grapes to be put in a bowl. She also knows where her bowls are, and hands me one when she is hungry.

She is a little ball of energy! I don't know how she goes and goes and goes, especially when she hardly eats anything during the day! She makes me tired by noon everyday!

When we go to Chevron to get a drink she has to get one too, but she always tells the girls," Thanks for me milk." Then about 20 times on the drive home I hear, " Mom,Ry Ry's milk."

She looks like her daddy, and has a temper like her daddy! If you tell her not to do something she looks at you, grunts, and then throws whatever she can grab. The other day it was a plate of eggs and yogurt. I don't know what to do with her?!

She loves her cousins and can say most all of their names. She also knows all her Utah Aunts and Uncles by name and face. My favorite names she says are Ka Ka ( Katie) Shaw ( Shani) Booo ( Billy) Say ( Sayla) AAAAbbyyy ( Abby) and Deeee ( Dustin). The other day we were at John and Summers house for a party. I told Ry it was time to go, and she told us bye, and clung tight to Summer. She didn't want to leave her! That was the first time she has ever done that. I kind of felt bad, but at the same time I am so glad that we have such good family and that Ry feels safe with them!

She loves to sweep and gets mad when I take away the broom!

Im sure there is more, I just cant think of anything else!
We Love You Rylee!!!

...Favorite Food...

There's not much this little girl will eat, and when she does eat its a fight!

Her diet consists of yogurt, grapes, oranges, cheese, toast with honey, crackers, fruit snacks, fench fries, cheerios, Cafe Rio sweet pork, and her all time favorite food that she will eat any time of the day come rain or shine is....

MAC & CHEESE!!!
(just like her momma!)

She loves it.
She loves it more then anything in the world.
You show her the container or box and she cries until she gets it.
I wish this is how she was with all food!!

...One more reason to LOVE her...

Rylee was being extra quiet today while I was cleaning up breakfast. Then she started giggling to herself. I grabbed my camera and went to see what she was doing. I found this trying to run down the hall...

I could not stop laughing at her. She could hardly move in those slippers, and the one was on backwards. Every day she gives me one more reason to love her, and one more reason to be thankful she is mine!
* Its 3:30 in the afternoon, and I have yet to find where she took her diaper off at!*

...The TV...

For Christmas Santa brought Chasey a TV that had a shattered screen. We took it back to Walmart... that's where Santa got it... but it was a discontinued item. All they would do was give us back our money. Too bad a multi billion dollar company couldn't give us $89 off of a different TV, so it would be the same price. We ended up finding the TV that Chasey really wanted at RCWilley. Only problem was that it was on a 2 hour sale, and they only had 10 TVs. Chasey told me that if I was the best wife I would get him that TV, he was kidding... kind of! The next morning me and Ry rolled out of bed at 7:00 am, filled up the car with gas, got us a donut, and headed over to Orem. I didn't know how many people would be there, but I figured there would be a few. We got there, and we were the only people there. I entertained Rylee in the car for 2 hours. About 9:30 the parking lot started filling up, so I hurried and got in line. I was the first person in line... thank you! Since I was the first one in line they gave me a coupon to guarantee me a TV. It was totally worth it,and Chasey was stoked that we got it!

We slept on the couch, so we would be sure to get up on time!

Ry with her donut

Empty parking lot.

Such a trooper!
She was out as soon as we hit the freeway.

...Last Christmas Post of 2010...

Sunday after Christmas we went down to see Grandma and Grandpa Larsen. We tried making down on Christmas day, but it was so nice to just home and not do anything! Grandma got Rylee a cute phone, and some really cute books that we read a 100 times while we were there.

Grandma has a cat that is beyond mean! You cant even walk too close by him or he starts hissing. Rylee doesn't understand why she cant play with him, so its a fight every time we go down there.

Love this picture of the two of them.

We had a great visit with Grandma and Grandpa!

After we left their house we went up to my Dad and Karen's house. My brother and his family came into town again, so we were excited to see them. Brady got a Kinect for his Xbox, so we played that for a little while. Its actually REALLY REALLY fun!!
Here are some pictures of everyone playing!

Sue
Isn't she beautiful?!

Spencer
He loved his BYU hat form Grandma and Grandpa Craig.

Rylee was so tired while we were up there, but she wouldnt let me hold her. She finally walked up to Abby, held up her arms until Abby picked her up, and laid on her shoulder.
