...1st Dance Class...

I found a teacher last spring that had a dance class for 2 year olds, and she wasn't going to charge me $50 a month for my 2 year old to jump around! We thought since Rylee is  a dancing machine that we would give it a try. I didn't know how she would do at following instructions and actually dancing with other kids. Usually at home its a spotlight on her when she jams out to the Bieb ( yes our house has Bieber Faever)! She did great though! It took her a minute to warm up and to figure things out and to realize that she wasn't the center of attention, but all in all she loved it! She got bossy a few times, and told the kids to be quiet and sit down so she could dance. No one really payed attention to her cause, hey they are all 2!

The next week she was so excited to go. I woke her up from a dead sleep and told her it was time for dance. She usually fights me to go back to sleep when I have to wake her up, but when she heard dance she jumped up and was ready to go! She did however pick out her own outfit that day ( see bottom picture) which was not my favorite, but she thought she looked so pretty! They combined her class with the 3 and 4 year olds too. It works out a lot better that way. The younger kids follow whatever the older kids do, so it helps them to learn the dances better. Rylee had a lot better time the second week. Every time she would do her kicks down the floor or twirl she would run out and say,

" Mom, you see me dance? I be right back, okay, I'm dancing."

I just love her!!!

This summer should be fun with Miss Kimbers dance class. They will be in all the parades and do the talent show at Onion Days! This is just the beginning, wait until you see us on  Dancing The Stars or Toddler and Tiaras!
( Kidding!!)

Her shoes came off two seconds after being there... surprise! You can see them in her hand in this picture. she would run with them back and forth... nerd!

This is her telling the kids to be quiet.

Doing her jumps!
