...A night in Salt Lake...

I thought I took a lot more pictures then I did on our little weekend getaway. Kind of disappointing!

We decided to take off early on a Friday and go stay the night at the Little America in Salt Lake. We had so much fun shopping, eating, swimming, and hanging out as a family. We had every intention to go to Temple Square to see the lights, but it was so cold and Rylee was not having fun being outside! We went to the Grand America instead and walked around. They always decorate it so pretty, and they have the best little sweet shoppe with amazing ice cream! We ended up going swimming all night... a long with the rest of Utah. I have never seen the Little America so busy. Its usually just a few people at the pool. This time you could barely move it was so packed. Ry had a great time though, so we were okay with it!

Ry with the fake Santa.

All bundled up!

Taking Trax to the Gateway. Rylee got on it and said, " Oh mom its the Polar Express!" She was pretty impressed! We finished up our Christmas shopping that night- nothing like waiting until the last minute!

The Grand America

Passed out after swimming. She loved that she got her own big bed.

Can you say spoiled?

Heading out in the morning. The trees there are so beautiful!

The next day we went to the symphony Christmas show with my sister and her family. My Dad and Karen gave us tickets for Christmas. I didnt know how well Rylee would do, but she loved it. At one point she started to walk down our row away form us. My niece caught her before she made a getaway. She said, " let me go I need to go up their and dance." She thought she could go up on stage and dance with the symphony. Other then that she sat through the whole thing. Rylee loves Little Einsteins and alot of the music was from the different episodes. Ry kept looking for them on the stage. Santa showed up at the very end, the kids thought that was so cool. Thanks Dad and Karen for the great gift, we had a great time!
