...10 Things...

Here they are the 10 things I have learned this week.

1. Everyone deserves to feel special on their birthday! Even when they say, "No, I'm 31 and don't need anything. Lets just save our money." They really are saying, "I'm 31 and cant ask for gifts but I love it when you spoil me!" Chaseys birthday was a success!

2. Its only been 4 months since Grandma Betty passed away, but it feels like forever! I miss her more then anything. There are still times when I want to call her, and actually pick up the phone before I remember I cant. Its good to have those kind of people in your life. The kind that touch your life so much that you think about them everyday even after their gone!!!

3. When people post  FB status' that indicate they might die but leave you hanging so you dont know what is really wrong, or post about their own birthdays just to get attention it really bugs me!  I mean like pet peeve super buggy I think your immature bugs me! I really hate it!

4. Utah is full of bad drivers. I lived in NYC for 3 years and they are 100 times better then Utah drivers. I hate driving here and my road rage seems to be getting worse. I mostly hate teenage drivers and moms in SUVS who think they are the the shiz!

5. Teaching the Sunbeams teaches you a lot about other families. Those kids say anything and everything about their families. On Sunday the one little boy told me that alcohol is only okay on holidays and its only for dads. Also coffee is only for dads when they are really tired. Ha, I love it!!

6. I believe in Karma

7. I don't like everyday friends! Let me explain.... Everyday friends are friends who want to go to the park and pool and out to lunch everyday. They want to meet with all your other mom friends and do everything together. I tried doing this at the first of the summer. I'm not a big fan of the meeting at a certain time, staying until we are all ready to go, feeling like I have to watch other kids. I just don't like it. I like my monthly friends. I like to meet up 2 or 3 times a month with them. Catch up on life, drive separate cars so we can leave when we want to. This summer I have learned that that's what I like!

8. Giving $5 to the homeless man isn't going to break us, and it means way more to him then the $5 worth of Dr Pepper I would have bought with it.

9. When I'm super rich I will pay someone to play with my hair everyday. For now I am bribing my 2 year old with fruit snacks and Capri Suns to do it.

10. The people who you think have it all usually don't!
