The other day Rylee came up to me and asked me to hold her and sing a song to her.
I love that she likes my singing voice, she always tells me its beautiful. I have a 9th grade choir teacher who would disagree!
She always wants me to sing her primary songs... love it! Her favorites right now are Love is Spoken here and the one that says, " I like to look at rainbows whenever there is rain..." She calls it the rainbow song!
Anyways, she climbs up into my lap with her blankie and let me sing her to sleep... awwww my favorite! She rarely does that anymore, usually only when she is sick. Not because she doesn't like it, but because she is too busy. Always moving and going a 100 mph! Its the little things like slowing down with life and enjoying the small stuff that is important. Our summer has been jammed packed of fun and going going going! Its been the best, but I haven't had a lot of time to just enjoy Rylee without a BBQ or swimming pool being there. I'm excited for the fall for a lot of reasons, but mostly cause life slows down a little bit... well a lot a bit! We go back to long walks, and feeding the ducks. Reading books all day and curling up in a blanket to watch a movie. Baking cookies together and just being at home! Its the little moments at home that are what are important!
