...Christmas Eve 2010...

After sledding on Christmas Eve day we came home and got our house all ready for Santa to come. Santa wont stop if your house is a mess! I guess I should say Rylee watched Christmas movies all afternoon, Chasey worked in his shop, and I cleaned. Everything looked so nice, so I had to get a picture! There are NO toys on the floor... that's right ZERO toys! Its a Christmas miracle!

My new table I got for Christmas!
I LOVE it!

On Christmas Eve everyone goes to their in laws houses, but since mine live in Florida we go to my Grandma Darlings house. I have actually always gone there anyways, so its nothing new to me. When Grandpa had to go into the rest home I would come home from NY for Christmas, and always sleep over with grandma on Christmas Eve. We would open matching Christmas jamas, watch a Christmas movie, and wake up to Santa! I loved it! My mom stays with her now, so she isn't alone.

This year we went over and ate dinner with Grandma and my mom, watched some Christmas cartoons, laughed at all the funny things Rylee does, opened gifts, played some Old Maid, and visited. It was a great night with them.

My mom and Rylee.

Grandma and Ry looking at a book.

Ry was all about helping everyone open their gifts!

Grandma got her favortie treats... chocolates and Coke!

I love this women!
She is so beautiful and has always been such a great example to me!! I cherish all the memories I have with her!

This Santa is something I have played with since I can remember. It reminds me of when I was little, and Christmas time at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Its already been willed to me!

Old Maid is mine and Grandma's game.
We used to play all the time when I was little. I spent a lot of time with Grandma when I was growing up... I loved being at her house. Since I was little, every time I get the Old Maid card I cant help but laugh. Things have never changed. The best part is that as soon as I laugh Grandma is laughing too!

Look close at the card, I just picked the Old Maid.

4 Generations.

We left Grandma's pretty early cause we had a very tired baby! We came home and opened Christmas jamas, put out food for the reindeer, and left treats for Santa!

Rylee opened everyones jamas... such a good helper!

She was excited when she got hers!

This picture is awful, but its the only one we got in our jamas.

Leaving food for the reindeer.

Santa gets enough cookies, so we left him some yummy treats!

The children were nestled all snug in their beds.... until 3 am hit and Rylee was up all night with her stupid cold!

Isn't her pillow case cute though?! Those are the ones my mom made.

We stayed up and watched Christmas Vacation, ate a little too much chocolate, opened a couple gifts from each other, and fell asleep in front of the tree. It was a great Christmas Eve!!
