The Tuesday before Christmas we had a HUGE snow storm!!! It starting snowing on Monday night, and didn't stop until Tuesday night. Utah NEVER cancels school, but they did on Tuesday. First time in 40 years that the kids got a snow day!!
This is what it looked like when Chasey left for work at 4 am. He shoveled the walks when he went out to start his car, and look at them... 20 minutes later they were covered again.
This is what we did 80% of the day.
Laid on the couch and watched Christmas movies... perfect day!
We did venture out to play in the snow and shovel the walks again.
We found a shovel Ry's size, so she would stop trying to use the big one. She loved it.
All kids love to eat snow... heck I love to eat snow.
Just a little snow that day.
After we shoveled the walks we went in and got dressed in warmer clothes. Rylee kept bringing me her baby and a snow suit. I didn't get what she wanted until she finally said, " baby, snow." Yes, her doll had to be dressed in snow clothes, so she could go out with us. This doll was my moms when she was little, so its kind of scary looking, but Ry loves it. Its about the same size as a real baby too, so when I was throwing it in the snow people driving past were doing a double take.
It was so hard for her to get up. She looked like this lady I used to work with that was really heavy. When this lady was on the ground with the kids she would have to put her butt in the air and then kind of waddle her way up. I couldn't help but laugh at Rylee and call her Marlene the whole time!
There was so much snow in the trees that it just kept falling on us. I went to take a picture of us and a huge thing of snow fell on top of us.
